Natasha Baradaran is the founder and creative visionary behind Los Angeles-based Natasha Baradaran Interior Design. Inspired by her multicultural background, her work fuses European design traditions, Middle Eastern arts, and the laid-back luxury of Los Angeles living. As a designer without creative limitations, Baradaran has grown into a full service design firm creating furniture and textiles to complement her brand’s vision for artistic, stylish and integrally made designs for residential and commercial environments.

In 2014, Baradaran ventured into product design, with her namesake furniture collection. Inspired by a lifelong passion for jewelry making, Baradaran created multi-faceted forms which complement her brand’s vision for artistic, stylish and integrally made designs. Baradaran's second collection, CURVA, was released in 2016, as a tribute to Italian mid-century design. Baradaran sited the Italian phrase "Dolce Far Niente"—the sheer indulgence of enjoying the moment, as one of the sources of inspiration for CURVA.  In 2018, Baradaran released the third chapter in her product design narrative, entitled ANDRO—androgynous design in a contemporary luxury vernacular. With ANDRO, Baradaran set to breakdown traditional gender roles placed on materiality and form.

In 2020, Baradaran debuted her first capsule textile collection. A covetable line that unravels traditional gender norms and begs to be appointed. Baradaran, the ever evolving creative spirit, mines her hobbies for inspiration. “Flamenco dancing is a secret passion of mine,” she says, “In my classes, dancers wear these tremendously powerful, flowing lace skirts—the performance is equal parts sensuality and power, and I see this collection as an extension of that."
